Signs your thermostat or zoning needs attention
Controls decide how well the rest of the system works. These are common reasons to look at them:
- Rooms on different floors are never comfortable at the same time.
- The thermostat is old, unreliable or hard to read and program.
- You’re replacing equipment and the new system needs a compatible control, such as a heat pump or variable-speed system.
- The system short-cycles or runs at odd times, and the settings may be the cause.
- You want a smart thermostat and want it wired and set up for your system correctly.
- Parts of the house are used at different times and you want to control them separately.
What thermostat and zoning work includes
Every house and system is different. Depending on what you need, the work covers:
- A look at your equipment, wiring and how the house is used
- Thermostat replacement or a smart thermostat, connected and set up for your system
- Controls compatible with heat pumps and variable-speed equipment where needed
- Zoning: separate control for different floors, wings or rooms, planned around the ductwork
- Settings checked so heating and cooling run the way they should
- A walk-through of how to use the new controls

Jordan personally handles every quote, every phone call, and every job walkthrough. His crew does the installation work under his direct supervision — walked through step by step and held to his standard. No commissioned salespeople pushing equipment you don't need. No middlemen, no relayed messages, no forgotten details. You don't get whoever was dispatched that day. You get the owner's eyes on your job, from quote to finish.

Thermostat and zoning questions
Can I install a smart thermostat on my system?
Often, yes, but it has to be compatible with your equipment and wiring. We check before we recommend one, and set it up for your system.
What is a zoned HVAC system?
Zoning divides the house into areas that are controlled separately, each with its own thermostat. It helps when floors or wings heat and cool differently. Whether it fits depends on the house and the ductwork.
Do I need a new thermostat with a new system?
Sometimes. Heat pumps and variable-speed systems may need a compatible control. We tell you if yours needs to change.
Do you work on systems you didn’t install?
Yes. We service all major brands.
