What custom homes usually need
Larger and more complex homes raise questions a standard installation doesn’t:
- A zoned HVAC system, so different wings, floors or rooms can be controlled separately.
- Quiet operation in bedrooms, offices and living spaces.
- Equipment and duct locations that don’t compete with the architecture.
- Discreet grilles and indoor units that suit the finishes.
- Special rooms — wine cellars, media rooms, gyms — with their own requirements.
- Fresh air and humidity control in a tightly built home.
What custom-home design and installation covers
Each project is different. A typical scope covers:
- Working from the plans with the owner, architect and builder
- System selection: ducted, ductless or a combination
- Equipment sizing based on load calculations, with duct layout and zoning planned for the house
- Ventilation and humidity control where the design calls for it
- Ductwork and sheet metal installed at rough-in
- Equipment set, connected, started up and checked at completion
Your written estimate lists exactly what your project includes.

You deal with the owner — not a salesperson.
Jordan personally handles every quote, every phone call, and every job walkthrough. His crew does the installation work under his direct supervision — walked through step by step and held to his standard. No commissioned salespeople pushing equipment you don't need. No middlemen, no relayed messages, no forgotten details. You don't get whoever was dispatched that day. You get the owner's eyes on your job, from quote to finish.

Custom home HVAC questions
Do you work with architects and builders?
Yes. We work with owners, architects and general contractors, and Jordan stays your single point of contact from planning through completion.
Can you include a wine cellar in the HVAC plan?
Yes. Wine cellar cooling is handled by our specialized division, Cellar HVAC — a division of Jordan Heating & Air Conditioning (CSLB #1099707). Wine cooling systems from WhisperKOOL, CellarCool, CellarPro and Wine Guardian can be planned into the house’s HVAC from the start, and our wine work carries a one-year workmanship guarantee. Scheduling goes through Jordan directly at (650) 650-2653.
How do you keep equipment out of sight?
Equipment and duct locations are planned early, when there’s still flexibility. That’s the main reason to involve us before the plans are final.
Which brands do you install?
We service and install all major brands.
What warranty comes with the installation?
10-year parts warranty and up to 10-year labor warranty on the majority of equipment we install.
