Overview
Project overview
This project put a new furnace in the attic of a Peninsula home and connected it to the house with sealed, insulated ductwork. Sealed and insulated ducts help keep conditioned air inside the duct system instead of losing it to the attic.
Scope
What was done
As shown in the project photos:
- New furnace installed horizontally in the attic, set on a raised platform with a drain pan beneath it
- Supply and return connected with sealed, insulated ductwork
- Furnace vent pipe routed up through the attic framing
- Copper refrigerant lines and PVC condensate drain piping run neatly at the unit
- Reflective insulation laid across the attic floor around the equipment
Warranty
10-year parts warranty and up to 10-year labor warranty on the majority of equipment we install.
